Mould metabolities were for long time an object of interest as antibiotics or anabolic compounds, while the fact that they lead to numerous side-effect was understimated. In recent years, the escalation of new, difficult to eliminate infections, and the increasing resistance to antibiotics is considered to result from their common use in medicine and intensive agriculture. The problem of dissemination of toxin-producing fungi, what leads to increasing level of mycotoxins with a mutagenic activity, antibiotics and alergenes in the environment, focuses many aspects of public health protection
