The paper presents some selected methods for examining the structure of object layouts, conventionally classified as points, lines or areas. It also proposes a modification of methods and supplementing the analyses with characteristics of sets within subareas, including analyses of neighbouring areas. The author presents both adaptation of methods applied in other domains and own new methodological solutions
