Fattening of two hybrid groups was performed: 30 pigs originating after 4 Pulawska sows mated with 2 PLW boars and 30 pigs after 4 Pulawska sows x PLW hybrids mated with 2 Duroc boars. Fattening results and slaughter traits were evaluated. Results revealed that the daily gains from birth till about 110 kg was higher by 41 g (6.5 percent) in three-breed hybrids when compared to two-breed ones. Hybrid (Pulawska x PLW x Duroc) fatteners were characterized by 1.6 percent higher meat content in the carcass which was estimated using Ultra-Fom apparatus. The pH1 of meat was observed to be normal (6.3 in Pulawska x PLW and 6.4 in Pulawska x PLW x Duroc fatteners). The analysis of the general element share in carcass showed that carcasses of animals included in E and U classes contained the most valuable cuts, i.e. ham (about 29 percent) and pork (about 12.6 percent)
