Effects of three nethouse conditions, covered by different types of net, on Chinese radish leaf chlorophyll content, area and thickness during rainy crop production were investigated and compared with the full-sun plants. Leaf chlorophyll contentschlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll, of plants grown under three nethouse conditions were increased. The highest leaf chlorophyll contents were shown in plants grown inside the nethouse covered by the 70 percent light reduction black net which was significantly higher than in full-sun plants. Chinese radish grown under three nethouse conditions showed bigger average leaf area and were significantly greater than the sun-grown plants. In term of leaf thickness, which considered from the specific leaf area (leaf area/leaf dry weight), plants grown under three nethouse conditions revealed the reduction in leaf thickness as compared with the sun-grown plants. The thinnest leaf was found in plants grown inside the nethouse covered by the 70 per cent light reduction black net which was 74.82 per cent thinner than the sun-grown plants.
