Study on time of pruning for off season flowering of mango cv. Choke-a-nan

Study on pruning periods: November, December and January for off season flowering of mango(Managifera indica L.) cv.Choke-a-nan, was conducted at the Pomology section, Lampang Agricultural Research and Training Center. The results revealed the rate of height, canopy width and leaf width and length of the plant pruned in November were higher than those in December and January. However, the percent flowering, total content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium in the leaf of no pruning were lower than those pruned in November and December.
