Forty-six individuals from six Bagrid species were collected from natural waters of Nakornsithammarat and Suratthani Provinces. The fish were excised and examined for gil monogeneans. Nineteen monogenean species obtained belong to two genera, Cornudiscoides Kulkarni, 1969 (15 species) and Thaparocleidus Jain, 1952 (four species). M. wolffii has the greatest diversity of monogeneans with six Cornudiscoides species and two species of Thaparocleidus followed by Hemibagrus nemurus with three species of Cornudiscoides and two species of Thaparocleidus. M. singaringan was parasitized with four Cornudiscoides and two Thaparocleidus, while two Cornudiscoides species were found on Mystus micracanthus. Only a species of Thaparocleidus was present on Leiocassis siamensis. No monogenean was found on Batasio tengara.
