Quality characteristics and consumer acceptance of a two peanut variants coated with honey

Two peanut variants coated with honey are developed. The difference between them is the content of sugar and salt and the way they are prepared. The component composition of the received products is established and some chemical analyses are done. The two peanut variants covered with honey (variant A and variant B) are evaluated using 9-point hedonic scale (from like extremly to dislike extremly) from the consumers taking part in this test (n= 200). For the two products was received rating like moderately (p=0.05). The peanuts covered with honey - variant B is accepted by 92.5% of the consumers and those from variant A - from 88.5%.
