The influence of insecticides based on active ingredients tiametoxam, acetamiprid and imidaclopride referring to neonicotinoid group on number and harmfulness of Colorado potato beetle (Coleoptera, Chrysomeldae: Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say) is studied. It is shown that this group of preparations is equal by protective action against the phytophage in potato in Belarus. Colorado potato beetle larvae swarms under tiametoxame in the composition of actar, acetamipride preparations as a component of insecticides mospilan, tander, jiant, agrolan, imidaclopride in the composition of imidor, cerber, comandor, concord, confidor 200, confidor extra, proagro 100 SL, protector, tanpek in 14 days after treatment has made 83,0-100%. In 21 days after the application depending on the preparation, application rate, years of research and species the neonicotinoides also provided with the high (77,2-100%) biological efficiency against Colorado beetle what testifies to the prolonged toxic action of this group insecticides. It is determined that the application of neonicotinoids in a significant degree decreases Colorado potato beetle harmfulness providing with potato tuber yield maintenance from 24,8 to 63,1%. The perspective of their use in the integrated potato protection against noxious organisms is indicated. Results of the lead researches have formed the basis for expansion of neonicotinoids assortment in the Catalogue of pesticides resolved for application in the Republic of Belarus with the purpose of their practical use in the integrated protection of potato against harmful organisms
