A technique of isolated cherry and plum embryos has been developed. The technique allows broadening breeding research of the species Prunus L. and enhancing effectiveness of interspecific hybridization. A scheme of in vitro embryos cultivation is presented: in vitro introduction of embryos at various stages of differentiation, selection of nutritional media and bioactive components, sterilization, stratification, initiation and further growing, in vitro rooting, ex vitro adaptation
