Results of the complex evaluation of the technology of perennial grasses cultivation depending on the level of mineral nutrition and cutting regime made it possible to determine its energy and economic efficiency in the system of the rough material conveyer. Application of perennial cereal and leguminous grasses characterized by the highest adaptability to soil and climatic conditions of the north-eastern part of Belarus (orchard grass, fescue grass, cocks foot, timothy, herds grass, reed canary grass, early-maturing orchard clover, hybrid clover) in single-crop sowing and in the leguminous-cereal mixtures made it is possible to organize the conveyer provision of green mass during the vegetation period combining two- and three cutting technique for the provision of rough and succulent forage for the winter period. Single-crop sowing of clover and hybrid clover and their mixture with fescue grass and reed canary grass fertilized by nitrogen-free phosphorus and potassium P90K315 provided the higher productivity in comparison with single-crop sowing of cereal grasses fertilized by N120-150P60K60. In the conditions of two cutting technique the maximum metabolizable energy output (81,5 G joule/ha) within 2 years was produced by early-maturing orchard clover. In the conditions of the intensive three cutting technique the maximum metabolizable energy output (79,1 G joule/ha) was produced by orchard grass and by early-maturing orchard clover in single-crop sowings and in mixture with fescue grass (74,9-75,5 G joule/ha). The lowest prime cost of feed unit showed single-crop sowings of orchard clover and hybrid clover and their mixture with cereal grasses
