Research results of studies of the peculiarities of the endocrine status of heifers in the periods of synchronization of sexual cycle and stimulation of multiple ovulation depending on successful fertilization, fertilization failure and embryo probability of survival were presented. The dynamics of folliculo-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing horone (LH), thyrotrophic hormone (TTH), thyroid hormones T3 and T4 and sexual hormones in heifers with the stimulated sexual cycle were analyzed taking into consideration the fertilization and fertility level. The considerable changes in secretion and allocation of FSH and LH (in particular LH) in connection with the hormonal stimulation of ruttishness and multiple ovulation were noted. Obviously, the character of the observed changes determined the character of the further folliculogenesis and the differences in the content of sexual hormones of polycarpic animals with successful or abortive pregnancy. High content of FSH and LH gonadotrophines on the first and the second days after ruttishness, on 5-7 days of sexual cycle and in the beginning of pregnancy definition by cow (15 day) caused the considerable changes in the synthesis and secretion of sexual and thyroid hormones. The observed factors could serve as the reasons of the subsequent early embryo destruction or miscarriage
