[Dairy cattle breeding in Belarus: achievements, further efficiency growth, and primary trends]

The critical level of production of milk for maintenance of food safety in Byelorussia is made with 4200-4500 thousand t, that provides need of the population. Within the frames of realization of the State program of revival and development of rural regions for 2005-2010 in dairy cattle breeding it is necessary to carry out a complex of following actions: creation of the Belarus black-motley breed of cows with genetic potential in 10-12 thousand kg of milk a year at expenses of a forage for 1 kg of milk at a level 0,7-0,8 f.u that will allow to receive competitive dairy production for the internal and external markets; transference of branch into modern innovative technologies and methods of the maintenance, I allowing to provide economy of work, resources and an output of branch for highly profitable work level; intensification of feed production allowing to provide animals with high-quality and cheap grassy forages with concentration of energy in 0,85-0,95 f.u and protein content 110 g, that it is enough for getting of 1 kg milk at the charge 0,7-0,8 f.u; training of highly skilled experts and workers for branch; increase of staff professional skill in the direction of mastering of achievements of a world science and practice; maintenance with appropriate work motivation of workers of branch
