[Increase opportunities of productivity, quality and profitability of potato production]

The situation which has developed in potato production in Belarus in 2005-2006 is analyzed in the article. The detailed description of domestic technologies of potato cultivation and its advantage in comparison with Dutch are given. Results of the lead researches on dependence of productivity on a way of planting and formation of a crest for different potato varieties are brought. The operational experience of collective farms in Chervenskij district of the Minsk area on production of food and technical potato varieties, and experimental base Lyubanskaya which specializes on production of elite seeds is described
