Comportamiento de algunos indicadores fisiológicos en caña de azúcar frente al virus del mosaico (VMCA).

الأسبانية؛ قشتالية. Se estudiaron cuatro variedades de la caña de azúcar caracterizadas por su comportamiento diferenciado ante el virus del mosaico (VMCA). Para conocer su efecto en algunos indicadores fisiológicos las variedades fueron: B34-104 y CP31-294 (altamente susceptibles), PR 980 (medianamente susceptible) y My 5317 (altamente resistente). Fueron analizadas la fotosíntesis, el contenido de pigmentos fotosintéticos (clorofila a, clorofila b y carotenoides) y la respiración a los 7, 14, 28 y 35 días posteriores a la inocolación viral, manteniendo plantas sanas como controles. Se observaron disminuciones significativas en la actividad fotosintética y en el contenido de pigmento fotosintético en las plantas enfermas de las variedades susceptibles y medianamente susceptibles. No se detectaron alteraciones de estas variedades en las plantas resistentes ante la inoculación viral.

There were studied four sugar cane varieties characterized by its differential behaviour against the sugar cane mosaic virus (SCMV) in order to evaluate its effect in some physiological indeces. The varieties were: B34-104 and CP31-294 (high susceptible), PR980 (medium susceptible) and MY53174 (high resistant). The photosynthetic intensity, pigment content (chlorophyll a, b and carotenoids) and the respiratory intensity were analyzed at 7,14, 14, 28 and 35 days, after the viral inoculation in plants, and maintaining health plants as controls. There were observated significative decreases in the photosynthetic activity and photosynthetic pigment contents in the infected plants of the susceptible and medium susceptible varieties. These variables weren't altered after viral inoculation in the resistant plants.
