An experiment was conducted in order to determine studing on the effect of girdling and different rate of potassium sulphate on the earliness and yield components of grapes (Vitis vinifera) cv.Askari in irrigated vineyards plantation of Sisakht regions during 2000-2003.Vines were growth on their own roots and planted 2.5(row) X 2.5 m (vine) spacing.Fertilizer was aplaid in Mide of winter then cane girdls 4-5 mm wide between the second and third node from the base of each fruting cane.Experiment was conducted as a randomized complete block design with a factorial arrangement and four replication. The first factor was four levels of K2So4 (0,100,500 and 1000 gr) and second factor was girdling (girdling and non-girdling).The data were analyzed statistically with Mstat-c Software.Combined analysis of variance also done to determine different factors interaction. Results were statistically analyzed using Duncan , s multiple range test. The results of analysis variance showed significant difference (p5%) between replications of experiment for all tested characters , except Tss/Ta ratio, pH , berry length , cluster weight , fruit weight in cluster and rachis length of cluster. Also there was significant difference (p5%) between experiment years for all tested characters , except berry length and number of berry in fruit. The effect of fertilizer factor for many of tested characters such as % Tss , %Ta , Tss/Ta ratio , pH , berry weight and berry volume also girdling effect for many of tested characters such as % Tss , %Ta,Tss/Ta ratio, pH , berry weight was significants (p5%). Fertilizer X girdling and fertilizer X girdling X year interaction was no significant (p5%) But Girdling X year interaction for berry weight and Fertilizer X year interaction for berry volume was significant (p5%). Therefore, Cane girdling in combination with K2So4 for increasing fruit quality of Askari Table grape in a cool-growing-season climat is recomended. Key words:Askari Grapes, Girdling, Cane, K2So4.
