To evaluate wheat lines and cultivars received by CIMMYT under saline condition, this study was conducted in three individual experimentsfield, germinator and greenhouse. Field experimental was conducted by a Ogmanted design with Kavir, Roshan and Mahoti as controls. Germination test was conducted in germinator. To measure some agronomical and physiological traits in seeding growth stage, another experiment conducted in greenhouse under hydroponic condition. The results showed that there were wide variation between lines and cultivars upon to seed germination, grain yield, grain filling period, lethal percentage, seedling psude-length, shoot biomass and + + Na K ratio in shoot. The most and least seed germination percentage was related to linesnumbers 264, 273 and 2, 13, 14, 66, 82, 89, 161, respectively. Average salinity tolerance threshold for wheat lines and cultivars was 18.29 ds.m-1 at germination stage. Each unit increase in salinity above the threshold reduced the seed germination 4.66%. Seed germination at EC=29.17 ds.m-1 reduced by 50%. There was a significant and positive correlation between + + Na K ratio and shoot biomass. It seems that + + Na K ratio of shoot and shoot biomass are good and rapid traits for screening in salt conditions. In field experiment the most and least grain yield was related to lines number 29, 44, 47, 182 and 217, and 7, 124, 125, 129, 188, 263, 264, 265 respectively.
