Damages caused by the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne hapla on lisiantus in Apulia [Eustoma grandiflorum (Raf.) Shinners; Apulia]

إنجليزي. Damages caused by the root-knot nematodes, Meloidogyne hapla, to a flower crop of lisiantus (Eustoma grandiflorum) are reported for the first time in a greenhouse at Terlizzi (province of Bari), in Apulia region (Italy). Several spots of plants with symptoms of yellowish, stunting and delay of flowering were observed in greenhouse. Soil sampling of the infested area revealed severe soil infestation, as large number of eggs and second stage juveniles of the root-knot nematode were found. The infestation by the nematode were evident also on the roots of lisiantus plants, which showed numerous and large galls and several egg masses full of eggs. Microscope observations of the perineal patterns of the nematode females, extracted from the infested roots, showed the typical punctuation of M. hapla at anal and tail level
اظهر المزيد [+] اقل [-]إيطالي. Vengono segnalati per la prima volta deperimenti di lisianto causati dal nematode galligeno, Meloidogyne hapla, in una serra in agro di Terlizzi (Bari). L´infestazione del nematode su questa specie floricola si presentava a chiazze, con piante ingiallite mostranti crescita stentata e un ritardo nella fioritura. Sulle radici, invece, erano presenti numerose galle e masse d´uova del nematode. Osservazioni al microscopio ottico delle impronte perineali di alcune femmine del fitopatogeno, estratte dalle radici del lisianto, ci hanno permesso la identificazione del nematode come M. hapla
