Optimum Nitrogen Split Application System for Grain of Rice Quality in Tidal Reclaimed Area

This study was conducted to identify the optimum nitrogen split application method for rice quality in tidal reclaimed area, at the Gyehwado Substation of the Honam Agricultural Research Institute during 2002-2003. The experimental field contained 0.1%(low salinity) and 0.3~0.4% (medium salinity) Nacl in soil solution, respectively. Heading date was one day later only in 5th treatment when compared with the standard split application method and four days later in middle than in low saline content.
