Latvian Plant Species Catalogue to offer more than 20 winter and 13 spring wheat varieties. Every year those varieties were evaluated at the State Stende Plant Breeding Station. In the article author introduce with wintering conditions, grain yield, and grain quality characteristics of winter and spring wheat varieties in 2005/2006.
