An experiment was carried out on 3 groups of Hybro G broiler chickens, including 24 birds (both sexes) in each. They were fed the mixtures Starter up to the 21st day of life, and next Grower from the 22 to 42 days, which were isoenergetic and isoproteic. Only vegetable feeds were found in their composition. The control group received maize soybean mixtures, and the experimental groups (B and BM) - mixtures with content of faba bean var. Akord (Starter - 10 percent, Grower - 20 percent), either supplemented (0.15 percent) or not supplemented with synthetic methionine. It was proved that chickens fed the mixtures with faba bean and deficient with methionine after 42 days of rearing obtained by 26 percent lower body weight with a higher by 18 percent conversion of feed in comparison to chickens receiving the same mixtures, but supplemented with synthetic amino acid. Moreover, they have by 2 percent lower dressing percentage (74.3 percent) and by 4.4 percent smaller share of muscles in carcass. In the lipid fraction of muscles the studies found lower by 16-25 percent participation of polyunsaturated fatty acids
