The aim of present study was to determine the effect of application of sewage sludge (200 Mg/ha) and mineral wool (200, 400 and 800 cubic m/ha) into devastated soil on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons content. Application of sewage sludge alone and its mixtures with mineral wool contributed to increase of total PAHs content in the range from 40 to 101 percent. After six months from reclamation beginning a decrease of PAHs content was observed (except tratment with 400 cubic m/ha). The largest PAHs losses were noted in soil with 200 cubic m/ha (50 percent) of wool addition
