Some bacterial and fungal diseases of fruit trees propagating material registered in a past few years in our country [Serbia]

During the past few years, the investigations were conducted with the aim to isolate and identify the pathogens causing diseases of stone and pome fruit trees in nursery productin and on parent fruit trees. The strains of bacteria isolated, were classified into three groups owing to their pathogenic and biochemical properties and hosts. These bacteria are: Erwinia amylovora, Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae and Agrobacterium tumefaciens. Besides phytopathogenic bacteria, the strains of Phomopsis mali Robers were isolated.
