Data of flight - significant moment in prognosis of Cydia pomonella

The emergence of Cydia pomonella was conducted on the territory of Jablanica district (Serbia) from 2001 to 2003. It was observed that the pest emergence directly correlated with meteorological factors (temperature and precipitation). Phenology monitoring of the butterfly flight and pest biology was conducted with observing and pheromona traps, by establishing traps and entomological isolation, examining the sum of effective temperatures and weather conditions. The earliest beginning the butterfly flight was recorded on April 14, 2002 in Jablanica district. The prognosed beginning of the butterfly flights was established on the basis of sum temperature and butterfly eclosion from the traps. It coincides with the beginning of the butterfly flights in pheromona traps with variation of a few days.
