How to protect old vocations and crafts

The intention that guided us in this paper was to show how old crafts and traditional occupations can be revived and preserved from disappearance through collecting, recording and interpreting examples of old lexis, especially the lexis of the Dragacevo weavers. Our aim is to nudge linguists, especially young ones, to delve into general research - only in the way the language heritage that, not so long ago, contained the meanings of essential work activities can be preserved and prevented from becoming a foreign language, especially for the young generations.
