Following vegetation period 2001-2002, the mycopopulations of three winter barley cultivars (NS 131, ZA 37, Jagodinac), two durum wheat cultivars (Zitka, Durumko), two triticale (Goranac, NS Triticale) and one oat cultivar (Slavuj, Rajac) from six different localities in the Vojvodina Province (Serbia) were determined. The most numerous fungi on cereal seeds were species from genus Alternaria and Fusarium. Fungi from genus Penicillium, Mucor, Bipolaris, Aspergillus, Stemphylium, Epicoccum and Ustilago were also established on seed samples. The highest disease intensity in investigated year were determined on oat, afterwards on triticale, while the disease intensity on durum wheat and barley were on same level. The lowest seed germination was also found on oat.
