Temperature measuring in transmission and hydraulic systems of the ZTS 183 45 tractor

The present work reports on measuring the temperature mode in the hydraulic and transmission system of a ZTS 183 45 tractor with regard to application of plant oil-based biologically degradable liquid. Using this sort of oils, the temperature of hydraulic and transmission system must not permanently exceed 70 deg C (a temperature of 80 deg C is possible for a short time). During experimental measurements the following parameters were measured: oil temperature in gear box, oil temperature at pump outlet, pump surface temperature, oil temperature at cooler input and output and ambient air temperature. The measurement results showed that the tested biodegradable oil based on rape-seed oil cannot be used for the hydraulic and transmission system of a ZTS 183 45 tractor.
