Study on use of EM product in rearing meat producing pig in Thainguyen province

The experiments were conducted that at the household level in Thainguyen province. In total 106 growing pigs were used in this trial (46 heads of F1(YxMC) and 60 heads of F3\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\{LRxF2[LRx(YxMC)]\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\}. The aims of the experiment were to survey the effect of EM to the growth of the crossing pigs, the economic benefit of pig raising when using EM in feed processing (fermented) and the effect of EM to the microenvironment. The results of experiment showed that the using of EM in feed processing contributed to increase the growing rate of experimenting pigs but the different is not significant. The pigs fed EM have a feed conservation tariois lower than control 6.71 percent (F1) and 7.17 percent (F3). The economic analysis showed that the feed cost per 1 kg weight gained of the pig in experiment group is lower 336.77 dong (F1) and 280.25 dong (F3) in compare with control. Especially, EM has very evident effect to the microinvironment in the pig stall. The amount of gase as NH3 and H2S in the pig stall observed is lower than the other onces
