Sanitary and hygienic qualities of water on an exit from a chink and in a network of water distribution before input in a cattle-breeding building on organoleptic indicators and chemical compound correspond to sanitary norms 10-124 RB 99. On organoleptic properties, concentration of chromaticity, opacity, ammonia and ferrum content water from drinking bowls in cattle-breeding buildings exceeds standard indicators. The general expense of water on is petty-commodity farms makes 153-177 l on 1 head. A day in stall and 197-223 l - in pasturable periods. Thus on animals drinking 17,5-33,2% of the general underconsumption are used. On the working operations connected with milking and milk preprocessing it is spent 66-70,1% of the general water consumption during the stall period and 52,9-69,5% - during the pasturable period
