[Holdings in agroindustrial complexes and management in them]

One of little wasteful directions of improvement of a situation in agroindustrial production should recognise restoration of controllability of Agrarian and Industrial complex by development of cooperative-integration processes and creation of agroindustrial formations, in particular the holding companies. The legislation of Belarus provides possibility of creation of holding as legal person in any organizational-legal form (except for financial holding). The structure of its actives should include controlling interests of other enterprises. Cross possession of actions when affiliated companies hold a part of the actions each other is not supposed. Possession of controlling interests of branches allows the holding company to carry out in relation to them management and control functions. It also is basic essence of functioning of holdings. For management of holding it is very important to differentiate functions of the head company and affiliated societies. It is carried out on the basis of the current legislation. It is necessary to notice, that as a whole across Belarus formation of the holding companies constrains absence of high-grade legislative base. It is urgently necessary to publish the law which completely would regulate processes of creation and functioning of the holding companies
