The data on prophylactic efficacy of the vaccine against proteosis in calves under industrial conditions are contained. This problem definitively is not solved. For these purposes the majority of researchers recommend to develop inactivation vaccines as they are deprived of infection owing to processing of strains by agents of the chemical and physical nature. They possess high stability. The difficulties connected with reception of antigene, as much as possible keeping specific antigene determinant, arise here. By earlier spent research it has been established, that maximum adjuvanticity it is reached at application in quality of inactivator Muriatic hydrаxilamine, and adjuvant - mineral oil Markol-52 with emulsifier. Results of studying of sterility, harmlessness, activity of the prepared vaccine against calf’s proteosis have shown, that it did not give growth on nutrient mediums, did not cause local and general reaction in white mice and cows and did not lead to deviations from norm in morphological and biochemical structure of blood. Together with it vaccine stimulated synthesis of the specific antibodies providing protection from proteosis during the critical period of calf’s life. It allow to characterise it as a sterile, harmless and active preparation. By the investigation it has been stated that the use of the vaccine against proteosis in calves enables losses connected with the disease to be decreased up to 60% and the daily body weight gain to be increased at 124 g.
