Biological preservatives Biosib is a dry substance of pure dried bacterial cultures including propanoic acid bacteria (on the basis of Propionibacterium Freudenreichii), amylolytic lactate streptococcus Lactococcus Lactis and pentose fermenting lactate bacteria Lactobaccilus sp. As a result of research it has been established that use of bacterial preservative Biosib used for feeds silage making allows to improve current of microbiological process in siloing mass. It increases the process of silage making and enables to receive feed not below the first class of quality. The feeding of maize silage prepared with leaven promotes to increase milk efficiency of cows on 4.9 – 6.2% at reduction of expenses of forages on 1 kg of milk on 1.2 – 3.6% and cost price – on 3.0 – 4.6%. Besides that some tendency in increase of milk fatness on 0.5 – 1.9% (P0.05) is observed. At cows fed by experimental silage the output of milk fat has increased on 5.4 – 8.2% during 90 days of control. Analysis of chemical composition and nutritive value of maize silage has shown that silages prepared with bacterial leaven Biosib differed by higher content of the main nutritive elements and their concentration in dry matter in comparison with feeds of spontaneous fermentation. Annual economic efficiency of use of silage with leaven can make from 15.9 up to 21.4 million rubles in account of 200 heads. On each rouble spent for ferment it has been received from 7 up to 9 rubles of additional production of milk
