In the Institute for Problems of Natural Resources Use and Ecology of Belarus on base of the Pinchs gas generator the gas generators by capacity from 30 to 1000 kw for burning of solid fuel are created, the technology and the equipment for joint burning of peat (or sapropel) and combustible organic waste is developed. The essence of this way consists that at joint burning, for example, peat and the worn out auto-tyre casings, peat ash combines formed sulphur dioxide with formation of calcium sulphate (CaO+SO2+0,5O2→CaSO4), that leads to considerable decrease in emissions of volatile sulphur-compound in atmosphere. The gas generators for burning of plant growing and wood fuel waste of different particle-size composition are developed. The same institute and Belarus State Agrarian Technical University offers new technical decisions on improvement of separate nodes of the gas generators - chambers of gasification, a grid-iron lattice and fuel dissector taking into account domestic characteristics of used fuel that has allowed to intensify process of gas formation and to improve operational indicators of the gas generators. The expediency of burning of rye straw, pressed in rolls, in the gas generators by capacity from above 1000 kW is shown
