Genetic variability and inheritance of some quantity traits determining the productivity and early maturity of plum-shaped tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) F1 hybrids selected by crossing of 13 tomato lines were studied in the crossed breeding system line-tester. The average value of productivity elements (fruit weight per plant, quantity of fruits per plant, average fruit weight), effects of general and specific combining abilities and variants of 10 parent lines and 3 testers evaluated on the basis of F1 topcross hybrids was analysed. Line L6068 proved to be the most perspective for plant breeding for fruit weight and quantity and L6465 line - for plant breeding for average fruit weight. Research results of the analysis of tomato productivity elements in the conditions of early and general harvesting proved the presence of the substantial differences between studied tomato hybrids. Overdominance of genes controlling the weight and number of fruits per plant caused the substantial heterosis. Heterosis was not stated in the gene trait of fruit average weight in determination of which the additive gene effects dominated. Tomato lines were described as the crossing components and were recommended for application in heterosis breeding
