Results of the development of methods of seed active germination and seedling growth of six species of Cactaceae family (Escobaria zilziana Backbg., Mammillaria bocasana Poselg. var. Multilanata, Mammillaria bocasana Poselg. var. Rosea, Mammillaria densispina Upl., Mammillaria gracillis Pfeiff., Mammillaria parkinsonii Ehrenbg) in vitro culture for the optimization of domestication processes of new plant species in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus were considered. The increasing of in vitro seed germination for Mammillaria bocasana poselg. var. Multilanata (98%) and Mammillaria bocasana poselg. var. Rosea (87%) species was shown. The relatively low level of in vitro seed germination was stated for Mammillaria gracillis species (30%). Seed germination of Escobaria zilziana species did not take place in the conditions of sterile culture. The increased percentage of viable seedlings in vitro culture was typical for all studied species. Research results showed that tissue hyperhydration was the main reason of Mammillaria parkinsonii seedlings destruction in vitro culture conditions. The formation of larger and more developed roots of in all studied cacti species cultivated in vitro in the condition of Murashige and Skoog medium was marked
