Methods of lowering the pesticide losses in course of spray material drops sweeping by wind for the increasing of seedlings chemical protection and lowering of environment impact were presented. In course of the realized generalized analysis of engineering solutions for spray pattern protection against the wind direct impact there was proposed the classification of wind-protective devices on the principle of their functioning. Dependences for the determination of design parameters of the combined and active wind-protective devices were proposed. Active wind-protective devices created the supplementary air flow which settle out drops and made it possible to realize sprinkling in the conditions of wind speed up to 9 m/s, minimize drops sweeping and economize pesticide up to 25-30%. The analysed sprayer also created conditions for the quality treatment of plants by means of the penetrating power of the running air flow. Scheme of the relative placement of hydraulic sprayers and discharging headpieces in the horizontal and vertical planes was presented.
