[Species composition and taxonomic structure of the phytoplankton of the Dnieper river]

The dynamics of the species variety of phytoplankton of the Dnieper river in the territory of Belarus is given. Is considered in detail the taxonomic structure of phytoplankton by results of research for 2001-2004 years. The Chlorophyta and Bacillariophyta dominated in the taxonomic structure of the phytoplankton. During research, 54 taxons by a rank below than genus is marked, which are not indicated earlier for a site of the Dnieper river in the territory of Belarus. Eleven taxons are found out for Belarus for the first time
