The aim of this study was to analyze sales, ways of distribution, prices and consumer demand for organic food products (OP) in the Czech Republic between the years 2002-2005. A questionnare was submitted to 1,306 citizens from different places of the Czech Republic. Non-buyers of OP prevailed a little over the buyers. The most consumed OP were milk and dairy products, bread and pastry. The main reason of low consumption of OP are high prices.
