[Effect of feed energy level on leukocyte profile of local goat at lowland]

The aim of research was to examine the effects of leukocyte profile of local goats to feed energy level, using 15 goats of 11-12 months old and 11-17 kg of body weight. The research was done in Palu, from December 17th 2002 to March 4th 2003 and was arranged in a randomized block design with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were feed energy levels of 1 x M, 1.25 x M, 1.5 x M, 1.75 x M and 2.0 x M. The results showed that no significant effect of the feed energy were found on the leukocyte and blood coagulation.
