Study on agronomic character and of Elite lines of large seed in international nursery for autumn planting.

The objective of these studies was to find variety which produce higher yield than local checks with large seed size. Experimental material comprised 21 lines along with local checks in RCBD with two replications at Kermanshah, Lorestan and Gazvin Research Stations during 2003-2004. Each plot was two rows with 4 meter which distance between rows and plants were 25 and 2 cm. Weeds were controlled during vegetative and reproductive phase. Data were recorded on days to 50% flowering, days to maturity, plant type, plant height, reaction to diseases, 100-seed weight and seed yield. The results of pooled analysis showed that location and genotypes x location were significant at 1% level of probability. The results of present study showed that the yield of genotypes were significant at 5% level of probability. Ten lines produced higher yield than local checks which FLIP 2003-5l produced the highest yield ( 1193 kg/ha). The average yield of local checks was 993 kg/ha.
