Study on effects of different tillage systems and plant densities ksc301 hybrid corn following wheat crop.

This study assessed the effects of different methods of tillage and crop densities on corn yield ( KSC301) in Dasht Naz in 2002 and 2003 . Strip block design containing 2 factors of tillages method ( No tillage , disk and plow + disk ) and crop density ( 70000 , 80000 and 90000 P.ha –1 ) , With 3 replications in randomized complete block design was employed . Inter row space was 75 centimeters and each treatment was planted in four rows .Data were taken from two middle rows , these harvested rows had 13.5 m2 area. Biennial result mean comparison with duncan test showed that in land preparing systems,disk treatment was the best . Disk treatment with 90000 p . ha –1 had the highest yield (9.314 T.ha –1 ).
