Development of wheat genotypes for high yield potential and resistant to biotic and abiotic stresses in cold dryland areas.

In oeder to approatch high yielding cultivars with resistant to abiotic and biotic sresses a study with 250 lines and cultivars was conducted at Ghamloo research station during 2005-06 as fallow: 1- Prelimiry yield trial test consists of 210 lines which was conducted in unreplicated. and based on agronomic characteristics and grain yield with comper compartions of checks, seven lines were selected. The lines number 12, 22,43,56,65,68 and 157 with 1357,1493,1360,1408,1277,1367 and 1915Kg/ha had better performance than checks. 2- Adwyt1:This experiment consists of 20 lines with 4 replication was conducted in RCBD. Analysis of grain yield and other agronomic charachterestics showed that only only line number 8 with 2328 Kg/ha had better performance than check(Azar2) but had lower yield than sardari. 3-Adwyt2: Also this experiment consists of 20 lines with 4 replication was conducted in RCBD. Analysis of grain yield and other agronomic charachterestics showed that the lines number 2,4, 10 and 13 with 2376,2626,2393 and 2663 Kg/ha had relatively better performance than check Sardari. Average grain yield of Azar2 and Sardari was 2392 and 2486 kg/ha respectively.
