Study of rape seed advanced varieties tolerance to terminal drought heat stress in south warm region.

Terminal high temperature and cut off raining are two weather Mediterranean characteristics. In order to introduce compatible varieties, this experiment was carried out in Ahvaz, Behbahan, Hajeabad and Iranshar, in randomized complete block design with three replication. And Normal, Late irrigation cut off and late planting date in two years, 2004-2005 and 2005-2006.Two-years compound analysis of variance showed that different wheather conditions had significant effects on plant agronomic factors. Delay in planting were caused 2.5 days delay in seed emergance, 3.2 percent reduction, in relation to normal condition. The means days to maturity from 157.2 days in normal were decreased to 154.9 and 139.8 days in drought and late planting condition respectively. Late planting date were resulted in reduction 21.3 pods per plant. The average number seed per pods were 23.3, 21.8 and 19.9 in normal, drought and late planting dates respectively. The highest thousands seed weight was 3.35 gr. Which producted in normal condition, but in drought and late planting was 3.1 and 2.9 gr. Seed yield reducted 317.4 and 947.1 kg/ha-1 in drought and late planting in relation to normal condition. The fischer sensitivy index showed that different resistance to stress in all of Jenotypes. The stability analysis and Rank method comparison showed that the hybrid Hyola 401 was the best in all locations, and conditions. This hybrid was early maturity with high seed yield potential, therefore this hybrid avoids from terminal stress and it recommended for south region as well.
