Sanitary controls for grapevine virus diagnosis [Vitis vinifera L.]

إنجليزي. The reliability of results of sanitary controls on grapevine viruses depends on the kind of test, on the diagnostic kit and on the sample. Analyses of mature canes with ELISA and PCR assays supply very reliable results for all the viruses. Serological and/or molecular tests for detection of GFIV, ArMV, GFkV and GLRaV-3 on leafy samples give good results, except a few sporadic cases on very young leaves. Excellent results with ELISA assay for diagnosis of GLRaV-1, GLRaV-2 and GVA are obtained only from mature canes. As the season advances, the reliability of the serological tests on leaf matrix increases

L'esame di tralci maturi fornisce risultati sicuri ai test ELISA e PCR per tutti i virus. Per la ricerca di GFIV, ArMV, GFkV e GLRaV-3 su foglie non sussistono problemi di campionamento per i test ELISA e/o PCR, salvo qualche sporadico caso limitato all'esame di foglie ancora giovani. I test ELISA per GLRaV-1, GLRaV-2 e GVA danno risultati validi al 100% solo sul legno invernale, mentre l'affidabilità su foglia aumenta con l'avanzare della stagione
