Protection of cucurbits against powdery mildew in Apulia: synthesis of the results of seven years of trials [Cucumis melo L.; Cucumis sativus L.; Cucurbita pepo L.]

إنجليزي. In seven-year trials, the efficacy of different fungicides against powdery mildew on cucurbits was evaluated in field and in greenhouses. Under high levels of disease pressure, as occurred in all the trials, repeated sprays with SBI and QoI fungicides yielded results not always satisfactory. Their usage in alternation or in mixture with fungicides of other chemical groups always allowed a significant reduction of powdery mildew infections as compared to the untreated control. Interesting results were obtained with sulphur, bupirimate and dinocap, even when the last two fungicides were used at the early appearance of first symptoms, allowing to reduce to a half the number of sprays. Good protection levels were also obtained with quinoxyfen, either alone or in alternation with other fungicides
اظهر المزيد [+] اقل [-]إيطالي. In sette anni di prove è stata valutata l'efficacia antioidica di diversi fungicidi su cucurbitacee allevate in campo e in serra. In condizioni di elevata pressione di malattia, quali quelle occorse in tutte le prove, applicazioni ripetute con fungicidi IBS o QoI non sempre hanno permesso di conseguire livelli di efficacia pienamente soddisfacenti. Il loro impiego in alternanza o in miscela con fungicidi di altri gruppi chimici ha, invece, sempre dato luogo a un significativo contenimento delle infezioni rispetto al testimone non trattato. Risultati interessanti sono stati ottenuti con zolfo, bupirimate e dinocap, anche quando questi ultimi due fungicidi sono stati applicati a partire dalla prima comparsa di sintomi, permettendo di dimezzare il numero delle applicazioni. Buoni livelli di protezione sono stati ottenuti anche con quinoxyfen, sia da solo, sia in alternanza con altri fungicidi
