Introduction of the history about 'Hizen-toji': Group of the overseers of sake-producing operations who came from Hizen-cho at northwest town in Saga Prefecture [Japan]

After World War II, sake is made by the group of the overseers of sake-producing operations who came from Yanagawa in Fukuoka Prefecture mainly till about 1965 at Saga Prefecture. But, at the same time, as many opportunity of jobs happened around Yanagawa, not a little overseers of sake-producing operations changed there jobs of overseers of sake-producing operations into another jobs. Therefore the number of overseers of sake- producing operations who came from Yanagawa decreased rapidly. On the other hand, the number of overseers of sake-producing operations who came from Hizen-cho at northwest area in Saga Prefecture increased gradually. Well, we call them 'Hizen-toji'. And after 1975 they became the main group of the overseers of sake-producing operations in Saga Prefecture. So we can say this time as the golden age of 'Hizen-toji'. But, after 1975 the number of overseers of sake-producing operations who came from Hizencho decreased gradually, and after 1990 decreased rapidly. And now they became few members in the jobs at sake-producing companies. At the future the situation of job at sake-producing company will change drastically.
