[Nitrogen fertiliser for the feed grasses]

إنجليزي. One of the main components of the high yield grasses mixtures is Timothy (Phleum pratense) which is important in animals’ husbandry. The Research Institute of Agriculture of Latvia has financed an experiment in Skriveri in order to explain the efficiency of nitrogen fertiliser on grasses. In this experiment they have grown a specific kind of timothy called 'Teicis' (ex 'Agris') made of eight different timothy species, selecting early forms. The experiment has been established in turf carbonate loamy soil with neutral soil reaction (pHKCL 6.35). The organic content in soil is 35.0 g/kg, there is a high content of phosphorus (202.56 mg/kg) and a low content of potassium (83.14 mg/kg). Total content of nitrogen in soil is 0.17%. The previous crop was lucernes and potatoes. The six application rates of nitrogen fertilisers (0; 40; 60; 80; 120; 160 and 200 kg/ha) have been compared in this particular experiment. The experimentation data proves that in one vegetation period in the two hay harvests it is possible to obtain up to 44 t of the green mass or 15 t of dry matter per one hectare.

لاتفيا. Timotiņš (Phleum pratense) ir viens no komponentiem augstražīgu zālāju maisījumos, kas ir pamats gaļas un piena lopkopībā. Skrīveros iekārtots Latvijas Lauku konsultāciju un izglītības centra finansēts izmēģinājums, lai skaidrotu slāpekļa mēslojuma efektivitāti stiebrzālēm. Izmēģinājumā audzētā timotiņa šķirne 'Teicis' (bijušais 'Agris') izveidota Skrīveros, Zemkopības zinātniskajā institūtā, no astoņām Eiropas timotiņa šķirnēm atlasot agrīnās formas. Izmēģinājums iekārtots velēnu karbonātu mālsmilts augsnē ar neitrālu augsnes reakciju pHKCL 6.35. Organiskās vielas saturs augsnē 35.0 g/kg, augsts fosfora saturs (202.56 mg/kg), zems kālija saturs (83.14 mg/kg). Kopējais slāpekļa saturs augsnē 0.17%. Priekšaugi - lucerna un kartupeļi. Izmēģinājumā salīdzinātas sešas slāpekļa mēslojuma devas: 0; 40; 60; 80 120; 160 un 200 kg/ha. Izmēģinājuma dati pierāda, ka vienā veģetācijas periodā divos pļāvumos iespējams iegūt pat līdz 44 t zaļmasas jeb 15 t sausnas no viena hektāra.
