In the work, using spectral wavelet-analysis, comparison is made for components of averaged temperature and solar activity changes. During the comparison a direct relationship between the mentioned parameters was revealed, with explanations found for phenomena that seemed to be inexplicable before. Based on the spectral analysis, along with the known solar cycles, some features of a 1000-year cycle were disclosed, whose structure cannot be obtained directly but only be reconstructed indirectly based on the data of the investigations into the ice cores from bore-holes of Greenland and Antarctic. The information obtained allows for the conclusion that approximately once a 1000-year period a short-term extreme temperature rise occurs, which takes place also at present. This phenomenon is overlapped by the anthropogenic component, which is of high importance and calls for research.
