Studies on biological parameters of Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens) on mustard and wheat aphids were carried out in laboratory, Department of Plant Protection, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam. It was observed that the females lived longer than males. Mean duration of longevity of females and males was 29.14 plus minus 0.33 and 23.857 plus minus 0.45 on mustard and 28.85 plus minus 0.35 and 20.14 plus minus 1.66 days on wheat aphids, respectively. Pre- copulation, copulation, post-copulation, pre-oviposition, and post-oviposition was not significantly different on both hosts. Mean duration of oviposition was 3.714 plus minus 0.22 and 2.710 plus minus 0.54 days on mustard and wheat aphids, respectively. Incubation, larval, pupal and total period were not differed statistically between the hosts. Hatching percentage differed significantly. Predator reared on mustard aphid had greater hatching (89%), than on wheat aphid (86%). It may be concl uded from the present studies that both hosts had no effect on the pre- copulation, copulation, post-copulation period and thereby on pre-oviposition, oviposition and post-oviposition period. There were no significant differences between the two hosts except feeding percentage.
