The aim of this research was estimation of the influence of soil granulometric composition (mainly of the clay fraction), organic matter and bulk density on hydraulic conductivity in plough layer of selected mineral soils of Poland. Saturated hydraulic conductivity of samples from tilled layers (10-30 cm) of 16 agricultural soils from field experiments and from experimental microplots at IUNG Pulawy was measured. Results show that higher clay content and lower bulk density increase saturated hydraulic conductivity. Higher clay content and organic matter content increase unsaturated conductivity at water potentials of -200, -400, -1000 hPa
