The results presented in this paper are short review of many years studies in the emission region of Copper Foundry Glogow. Metal-containing dusts emitted into atmosphere by the foundry pollute very frequently agrocoenoses situated in the closest neighborhood of emitters. Both soil and atmospheric air are sources of heavy metals for plants cultivated in this region. The presence of heavy metals could cause different disorders in the environment. Pollutants depressed parasitic activity of pathogens. Industrial pollution and fungicides influenced microbial biodiversity. Populations of weeds grown in the environment polluted by heavy metals show similar reaction to many herbicides like in other regions of Poland
